Repairs We Handle
Brakes and rotors
Pads, rotors, stuck calipers and brake fluid service. If the pedal is soft or the car pulls to one side, do not wait.
Suspension and ball joints
Ball joints, tie rod ends, control arms and struts. Boone County potholes and frost heaves are hard on all of them.
Diagnostics and electrical
Check-engine lights, no-starts, bad alternators, failing starters and intermittent electrical gremlins.
Cooling and heating
Burst hoses, failed water pumps, thermostats and leaking radiators, including the overheated car towed off I-90.
Towed Here, Fixed Here: How It Works
- The tow arrives. Dispatch tows your vehicle to 1007 Logan Ave at any hour. If it arrives overnight, it waits in our yard.
- The technician hears the story. The driver passes along what you reported, such as a noise, a smell, a warning light or the moment it died.
- Diagnosis comes first. Our mechanics find the cause before recommending parts, and we call you with the findings.
- You approve the work. Nothing is repaired without your yes, and you get an estimate in plain language.
- You pick up with no storage bill. While the car is being repaired with us, there is no storage fee.
Brake and Suspension Warning Signs
Some problems announce themselves loudly. Others are quiet until they are expensive. Watch for these:
- A grinding or squealing noise when braking, or a pedal that feels soft or low.
- A steering wheel that shakes at highway speed, which can point to rotors or a worn component.
- A clunk over bumps or a car that wanders in the lane, suggesting worn joints or links.
- Uneven tire wear, which often traces back to an alignment or suspension fault.
- A temperature gauge that creeps upward in traffic.
If any of these show up, schedule a visit. If the car feels unsafe, call dispatch and have it towed rather than driving it.
Shop Hours and Scheduling
The repair shop is open Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sun closed. For non-emergency work, call ahead so a technician can look at the car at a time that works for you. Emergency tows run around the clock, and the shop works on towed-in vehicles when the bay opens.
Our mechanics are ASE-trained and certified. If you want to know which certifications apply to your repair, ask at the counter.

What to Tell the Shop
- What you noticed first, and when it started
- Any warning lights, with a photo if you can
- Recent repairs or accidents
- Whether the problem happens cold, hot, at speed or when turning
- How you plan to get the car to us, tow or drive-in
“The tow driver is the first person to hear what went wrong, and the mechanic is the next. Having them under one roof means that story does not get lost on the way.”
